Shabbat Services

Our Shabbat services are held on the first and third Friday night of each month at 8:00 p.m. The services are held at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Darnestown Road (near Kentlands) in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and have a Reform style with a traditional flavor.

The first service of the month includes a brief Torah session with the Rabbi. Students enrolled in our Religious School will be assigned by class to participate in our Shabbat Services. Our services reflect the diversity of our congregation and contain a balance of both Hebrew and English text and songs. Cantorial Soloist Audrey Katz helps create the Shabbat mood while leading us on guitar through the Sabbath prayers and songs.
