2008 Entertainment® Books

The 2008 Entertainment® Books are here! Reserve your copy now by phoning Libby Elkaim at 301-528-5307 or e-mailing her at libielkaim@aol.com. The book remains priced at $25.00. The Entertainment folks have promised that this is the best book yet.

Everyone wins with the Entertainment Book. You get fabulous two-for-one meals at local restaurants and discount coupons for movies, dry cleaning, groceries, and more; and the congregation makes a little too. Also, use them at our dining outs.

Please arrange to get a book today for yourself and maybe get your friends to join in the savings too. Thanks in advance for supporting this fundraising event.

Garden of Remembrance

THIS IS THE CHOICE ONLY YOU SHOULD MAKE

By reserving individual or family burial space at the Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park in the Hevrat Shalom Cemetery, you spare your loved ones the emotional turmoil of making burial arrangements during a difficult time. You also ensure that your wishes are understood and carried out as you intended.

The Garden of Remembrance is the region’s most inclusive Jewish cemetery, committed to maintaining the integrity of Jewish burial practices. It also is the area’s only not-for-profit cemetery operated by a board of Jewish community leaders. Orthodox, Reform, Reconstructionist, and Conservative congregations, as well as many individuals unaffiliated with congregations, have reserved areas at the cemetery.

Give your loved ones peace of mind.

Call Joan Pinsky, Hevrat Shalom, at 301-279-7889.
